I began finalizing audio projects for friends and other local artists back in 1998. Two years later, I launched Redsecta.com, focusing primarily on CD mastering and other forms of digital distribution. I have been pre-mastering for vinyl for just as long and while I don’t cut vinyl, I have communicated with a few vinyl mastering engineers over the years on behalf of my clients and have learned a lot about how to present optimal digital pre-masters for that format.

During this time, I have modified and built some of the audio equipment that I use on a regular basis, and I’ve also been expanding my freelance career in print media editing and image/video restoration work. A few months ago, I decided to put a pause on Redsecta.com to re-evaluate some things, and really think about what I wanted to do moving forward.

In these times, when AI and subscription-based apps promise to do it all for you, I believe there are still people out there who can appreciate the work of another set of experienced ears, and the added perspective from someone – not an algorithm – that understands their creative vision. While the site has been down, I have continued to work on projects for my longtime clients, many of whom I’ve been mastering projects now for more than 15 years. If you’re reading this, thank you!

I also understand that now more than ever, artists are capable of doing so much on their own, and I think I’ve got some additional solutions and services for those of you who fall in that camp. I’m working on finalizing the new Redsecta.com around late October 2025. Follow me on IG for more updates, or use the form below to contact me. Peace!
